Lavender Berry Cottages (LBC) in Pemberton found me via a Facebook ad the day after I mentioned we were looking for a getaway with our kids in the South West after exhaustingly (and disappointedly) looking for self-contained accommodation for 2 adults, 2 children and a baby under $200 a night for over a week on the internet. Our oldest daughter... More

We have been to Pemberton in south Western Australia several times over the last 10 years and every time we go there we make time to visit our favourite Lavender & Berry Farm which is only 3km out of town or about 5 min drive. This place is famous not only for its ABSOLUTELY delicious pancakes but also for its... More

We came here for the lavender scones and berry pancakes. There were 3 other tables before us and food took quite awhile to arrive. The berry pancakes serving was huge enough to share and tasted good. Didn't really appreciate the lavender scones though. The ice cream from the ice cream parlour was nice. More

Excellent service and location. Very serene and rustic! Its autumn-winter when we visit so there were no berries for plucking, but we still enjoyed the nature and lovely animals which visited us. The stay was very comfortable and memorable. We are still dreaming of the place today, we will definitely visit this place again :) More

We stayed in one of the rammed earth cabins and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The farm was smaller than we anticipated, but so peaceful and beautiful. The blue wrens that visited us morning and night were just beautiful as were the other birdlife that visited while we were at the cabin. Warning on the pancakes - a small one is... More

Glad you enjoyed your stay, Debbie! Sounds like Pemberton put on a nice show for you too. The pancakes are BIG... we're hoping you were warned when you ordered (we like to let people know what they're in for!!) The breakfast basket is available all year, as long as it's not school holidays or a long weekend... sounds like your... More

Lovely cafe and shop. Ate the Pemby pancake covered in berries and served with vanilla icecream. The biggest pancake I've ver seen with berries in a wholemeal batter. Complimented by a delightful flat white and served in the beautiful gardens. We were in heaven! Visited by a splendid Blue Wren whilst we ate, we needed a walk around the garden... More

This is a beautiful location. The shoppe sells lots of products and souvenirs. The berry pancakes are just beautiful. There are berries to pick and takke home, when in season. Playground for the little ones, and animals to feed with special food from the shop. A lovely location and a great place. More

Was expecting a bigger property area for the flowers. Cottage was cosy and comfortable for 3 of us. Love the view, facing the lake. 10mins drive to pemberton town. Overall a good place to stopover for a night. More

Thanks for the review - glad you enjoyed your stay. Most people do end up with a chalet preference... but they're always different! Often our repeat guests have a favourite. Just let us know and we'll do our best to give you the chalet of choice! Hope you can make it back this way in the future. More
