The peaceful setting with a forest in one direction and animals grazing in another direction, lends itself to relaxing and soaking up the natural environment. The cabin is well set up and has large glass windows to view the landscape. You are encouraged to wander the extensive grounds to explore the many features of the property.

Our two girls (ages 7 and 12) had four wonderful days at the farm, with hands-on access to animals of all types. The morning feeding of the animals would typically extend to hours of farm-yard exploration. The animals are definitely children friendly and provide hours of entertainment and learning. The owners’ dogs are also placid and love to play with... More

We spent 5 relaxing days at Diamond Forest cottages, our hosts were wonderful. Our 2 kids (3&6) were allowed to run free and after feeding the animals each morning, would join us for a brief period, before returning to visit, cuddle, and feed, the 'baby animals' in the petting zoo, or play in the games room. The dog had his... More

Nothing short of wonderful. We spent 5 nights at Diamond Forest Cottages and loved every minute. The hosts, their puppies, the animals, everything. Every morning at 8:30 we walked the farm hand feeding all of the animals, the highlight of course being the "Running of the Ducks" which needs to be seen to be believed. Having 30 or so ducks... My husband and I, with our 2 kids (aged 6 and 3) spent 2 nights at the Diamond Forest Cottages. It was a wonderful experience for our kids to be around the animals. There were peacocks, chickens, dogs, turkey, pigs, donkeys etc, and we were free to feed them with bread throughout the day. The compound was nice, well kept... More

We stayed at Diamond Forest Cottages for 2 nights, 17 – 18 Feb 2013. This was literally a last minute booking as we only decided as a family to explore some part of WA while back in Perth a few days earlier. We were open to anywhere within 10 hours drive from the city. We narrowed down our options to... More
