was expecting a room, got that, it was a double room with bathroom just opposite the door in a 3 bed roomed, self contained cottage. Wood burner, working kitchen, t.v, cheap as chips, I.G.A opposite and bottle shop beside that. perfect.

Avoid this place! Location ok, but in Pemberton, everything is central... Run- down wooden barracks with dirty, underequipped kitchen (3 tables, 3 chairs, few pans but no plates or cuttlery, so useless). Mostly inhabited by Woofers in the area. Loud music and parties in the evening.

Stayed in a single room in the YHA 3 bedroom house near IGA. Clean house, including bathroom. Comfy couches with tv and open fireplace. Good heaters through house. All bedrooms lockable. Good kitchen with microwave. No problems

Had quick look around the Pemberton YHA and was put off by the run down and dirty state of it. I decided to drive on to Augusta where the YHA is really brilliant.
