traveled with family of 6. We stayed in the mix dorm at the 2nd level hence less noisy. Bathroom and kitchen just next to our room. Pros - Good location, clean rooms, clean bath, well equipped and clean kitchen. Cons - No free breakfast. No BBQs for guest unlike what was stated in their website. Service - So so. The... More

“Cheap and cheerful”

Old building but nice atmosphere and good facilities. Basic, but clean and comfortable. TV lounge and internet facilities. Good location. Very cheap bike hire. Lockers in rooms. Recomended.

Fairly standard backpackers in Albany. Quite shabby. Superficially clean. I stayed in a private double room with shared bathroom. The room had that smelly backpacker smell. Albany bayview is a nice hostel, the rooms are good, our 4 bed dorm was a littlecrowded and when tv was on too loud and the movie room door wasnt shut you could hear it in your room.
