First stayed there in 2000 December. ... and been ther a couple of times since then. Current stay in 2013 should a much improved facility for the "Traveller" Kitchen much improved and our twin room upgraded to have a fridge and TV. Management and staff friendly as always. Thank you for a recent stay.

Upon our arrival; the receptionist was most helpful - she went out of her way to get us into the same room. Excellent, friendly service! For backpacker accommodation the facilities were very good - large kitchen, some free food, tea, coffee, dining and tv areas were spacious. We decided to stay another night here.

We definitely would like to suggest this hostel. Is simple but daily cleaned, the atmosphere is friendly and well located next to the bay. Is one of the cleanest hostel I have seen. The Price is cheap and is located very close to the city center and the main road.

Bayview, is easily the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in. Our room was cleaned daily and the kitchen, bathroom and other communal areas were always really clean too. The hostel has a friendly atmosphere, the staff are helpful and it's in a great location. Would definitely reccommend.

We can recommend this hostel! The rooms are a bit dark, but all have windows and the rooms are cleaned every day. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they also help you with finding a job. Tv with many channels, computers, and pool table is also available :-) nice atmosphere

Great location, close to everyting in Albany.Bathrooms and kitchen always clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Old building so sometimes can get bit cold, but room had extra blankets.Stayed in 4 bed dorm which was clean and had lockers. Would recommend to anyone coming to Albany.

traveled with family of 6. We stayed in the mix dorm at the 2nd level hence less noisy. Bathroom and kitchen just next to our room. Old building but nice atmosphere and good facilities. Basic, but clean and comfortable. TV lounge and internet facilities. Good location. Very cheap bike hire. Lockers in rooms. Recomended.
