I stayed on a casual recommendation and was pleasantly surprised - it forced me off the beaten track into one of the many valleys that run down to the GOR, and I had the best night's sleep of the 5 weeks in Australia. the owners were charming and helpful. Apollo bay is an ideal half way point when travelling the... More

Have just returned from a holiday driving the Great Ocean Road and booked Paradise Gardens for our 36th Wedding Anniversary. We stayed 3 nights in Plum Tree Cottage Unit 1 and it was the best accommodation of the holiday. We had a couple of BBQ's on the deck, watched the ducks on the lake, managed to see the Glow worms... Such a beautiful and tranquil setting. We loved staying in these cottages for two nights and wished we could've stayed longer. Comfortable, cosy and peaceful we will be back! I stayed wil my mum and we both loved it! A short drive from town, but not too far. The distance from town was a dream.

We have just spent four wonderful days in Plum Tree Cottage. Such a gorgeous place it was hard to tear ourselves away to see the beautiful Otways rainforrest. So quiet and peaceful. Everything about the cottage was lovely, the bedrooms were to a very high standard with lovely linen and very spacious bathrooms. Ideal for 2 couples sharing. The lounge... More

We stayed 5 nights in Plum Tree Cottage in the middle of June. It was cold, raining and miserable outside for at least half the time we were in Apollo Bay and we couldn't have cared less. The cottage itself is exactly as it looks in the photos, gorgeous. I wish we'd been able to sit on the front balcony... More

We spent 2 nights staying in the Twisted Willow Cottage. We loved it and it really made our trip so much better. Having enjoyed the drive along the Great Ocean Road we then went through Apollo Bay past farmland and up a stunning forest road to find the cottages serenely tucked away. Check-in was easy and Jock was very friendly... More

Jo and Jock have established a little piece of paradise in Paradise :) We stayed in Plum Tree Cottage and it was beautiful; from the decor, the design and the log fire, it was lovely. The... More

Idyllic setting. The cottages are situated in lovely gardens by the side of a lake. The cottages were decorated and equipped to the highest standard. We stayed in Plum Tree cottage for 4 people. I am not sure I would have wanted to stay in the studio as the cooking facilities were not good enough. There is no TV reception... More

We've just come back from a round-the-world tour and have stayed in some really nice places. But the very best was Paradise Gardens Cottages. We were in the Plum Tree Studio, which overlooks the lovely lake. The room was really comfortable and sitting on the balcony, listening to and watching the birds while we ate breakfast was amazing. All the... More
