If you're looking for genuine interest and guidance as to the 'must see's for this part of Tassie, the owners are better than any guide book. As soon as we arrived (late - and during a busy period) we were helped with a hard-to-get restaurant booking, followed by a briefing session as to the sights to see the next day... More

Tassie is a wonderful place and Bowerbank mill is a very good stop before visiting the Cradle Mountain. The location is so convenient that you can reach the town in just couple of minutes’ drive. The place is full of history and is managing in a wonderful way by Anne. Anne is so endeavor in showing us around and taking... More

Our stay in the Millers Suite was certainly an experience to remember. Here we spent the last 3 days of our Tasmanian adventure where we were warm , comfortable, and thoroughly spoilt by our host Anne. Each day we returned to our digs, afternoon tea awaited, always homemade and most appealing, as were the breakfasts. Anne enthusatically recommended things to... More

We had a wonderful night's stay in the Chimney Cottage at the Bowerbank Mill. The rooms were full of character and charm, with all the facilities to make you feel comfortable. Anne was a wonderful host who went out of her way to meet our needs. I have no hesitation recommending a stay at the Bowerbank Mill.

We booked for one night, but after arriving and settling in we added two more. This is a memorable B&B, with lovely hospitality from Anne, and rooms that were outstanding in comfort, amenities and presentation. My wife particular liked the antiques dotted around, the open fire in the Chimney Room, and the appetising cooked breakfasts. I liked the fact that... More

Our stay at Bowerbank Mill B&B was the highlight of our fortnight’s holiday in Tasmania. We were there for 6 nights. Chimney Cottage was everything we hoped for: comfortable, clean, cosy and with a warm sense of the history of the building and of the period of its heyday. The rooms are decorated with intriguing period items, from furniture to... More

You need to appreciate antiques and to be reasonably agile to cope with steep stairs. A great welcome and very generous hospitality. Nothing was too much trouble for Anne.Excellent breakfasts. A very interesting place to stay.

My wife and her parents recently stayed in the Miller 2 bed suite at the Bowerbank Mill B&B. This was our first night of a 10 day trip around Tassie. We were warmly welcomed by Anne who made sure that our stay was as comfortable as it could be. It turned out to be one of the best stays of... More

What a delight. By chance, our original booking at another venue had been overbooked and we were offered this accommodation as an alternative. How lucky were we. Both my friend and myself had never experienced a B & B before so didn't know what to expect. What a pleasant surprise and one that will be cherished for all time. Our... More

My mother and I spent a night in the Miller's Suite, a 2 bedroom suite up in the top of the old mill. Magnificent furnishings, beautifully comfy bed, super-hospitable host in Anne whom nothing was too much trouble. Our breakfast was beautiful with my mother commenting on how the homemade jams were a highlight, impressive compliment as she has her... More
