Overall, it's a great place. I have stayed there on numerous ocassions. Pool area is fantastic. Staff are great to deal with. The rooms are a little tired and inconsistent. Some rooms have TVs in bedrooms and others have really old small TVs in the living room. Bathrooms have mould too. If you're willing to overlook this, the place is... More

I booked into the Aussie Resort 20-23 Feb 2013 as it was the cheapest reasonable hotel available. It is well located being close to the beach and walking distance to the shops. The management are friendly and helpful. If you don't have a car, travel is no problem as the buses are frequent and cheap.

A very enjoyable experience. We stayed there for free nights on a discount package. At the price we got it, we didn't expect too much but we found it had everything we needed. The room is quite large with a living room with two couches and a tv with Austar, a balcony, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It comes equipped with... More

I wouldn't waste my time staying here again, much nicer, cleaner places for similar rates if not cheaper in the area. Rooms are not consistant and often things are not working such as the ovens or tvs or in my case both. Called management to fix tv and they "forgot", tried calling their phone no answer, so I called the... More

Stayed here for 5 nights with my partner and it was great! Spacious rooms, comfy bed, clean bathrooms, clean linen, good quality television, comfy sofa couches, good service, great location near beach and some great restaurants on James Street (Justin Lane Pizza is amazing and the Koffee Shack is great for Breakfast). The only negative is that the hot water... More

Thank you for your review. I agree, the James Street restaurants just keep getting better and better and are very tempting. As the hot water system is gas, water is heated within a matter of minutes. Pleased you enjoyed your stay and we hope to see you again. More

We have holidayed on the Gold Coast for 13years, This is our 2nd year staying at the Aussie resort, We love the location away from the 'rat race' of Surfer's and Broadbeach. We will probably not book during 'schoolies week' next time, I have to say the Managers where on the case quickly if there was excessive noise. Great beach,... More

I stayed for 3 nights using a voucher website deal. As I arrived a few hours early, I was able to leave my belongings in the reception area, and take a walk down to the shops/restaurants (about 1km away). The location is beautiful and even though I attended in the first week of schoolies, the Burleigh heads area was very... More

We have been staying at Aussies now for around 12 years, up to 5 times a year to visit family on the Gold Coast. We have always been warmly welcomed and the rooms are clean and comfortable. If there is any critisism it would be that some of the older fold out lounges where less than comfortable, BUT most now... More

I found that overall that this place was a good value pleasant place to stay. weve stayed there three times now and would be happy to stay again. these units are on the main road but because of the design most of the road noise is shielded and acceptable. the managers are always helpfull and pleasant and it is outside...
