My girlfriend & I were fortunate to try Brandy's Restaurant last Saturday night. We took advantage of their "3 courses for $35" deal and was knocked out by the food & service.
My lady tried the chicken wings and I had the spicy calimari for entree. Whilst the wings were good, the calimari was sensational. TENDER, plenty of it & tasty.
I had the Korean Bulgogi for main and the lady had the BBQ lamb ribs..... both meats were cooked to perfection. Lamb can be overcooked so easily, but the chef Jack got it spot on. The Bulgogi was a similar taste to mongolian or sezchuan but subtly different. All i know is that both were great.
We tried the Plum & Raspberry Cheesecake & the chocolate pudding for desserts. We tried SO HARD to finish these but the quantity of the meal left us struggling. The desserts were easily of restaurant quality & as usual, plenty of it.

Brandy's Restaurant is, without doubt, the best eating place in Tumut. More

Now known as the Ashton Townhouse with Brandies Restaurant. This is an excellent motel for all levels of clients. The restaurant has a superb menu equal to any in Sydney or Melbourne. Stayed in a 4 star suite for $140 and could not fault the service or room. Decor is a little dated but I enjoyed my stay. More
