We used the Merivale Motel as a base for exploring the Snowy Mountains over a long weekend. A real hidden gem. The rooms are sparkling clean, with all the features that one would expect from a top quality hotel. Priced at very reasonable rates. We will be back again for sure. More

The motel was in the centre of town and the rooms were really nice and new inside. Tumut is such a pretty place I would recommend stopping here and at the Merivale Motel for its convenience and neat, clean, modern rooms. More

The motel is being renovated and half the rooms are done while the others are still being worked on. The builders are very considerate and did not cause any problems with noise, rubbish etc. There is no resident manager and the manager can only be contacted by phone -- too bad if you don't have a mobile.
