We stayed in the Bakana Suite on the first week in June 2013. It was just magic. Jenny and Paul were perfect, very happy, obliging and welcoming. Breakfasts were top notch, the complementary port each evening in front of the fire was perfect. On Saturday evening we had fantastic chocolate cupcakes waiting for us when we came home from our... Stayed on the Bicentennial weekend we were welcomed by our hosts with a holey dollar which was a nice momento of the occasion. We stayed in the Amaroo sweet and it is massive and so clean, it had an open gas fire, dining table for two, large two person spa bath. The fact that it had a kitchenette with fridge,... More

Shelton Lea has an "English cottage" feel to it with separate self-contained units. We stayed in the Bakana Suite with its own front door entrance, separate small dining/sitting room and outside deck. Very clean and cosy, with antique furnishings and unique decorating touches. A 15 minute walk to either the town centre or the Three Sisters, and an hour by... More

Very comfortable self-contained accommodation (we stayed in the Allambee suite) in a quiet neighbourhood. Great breakfasts cooked by Jenny & Paul. A fridge, microwave and bathrobes were handy facilities which might not be expected in a B&B and the complimentary cheesecake awaiting us on Day 2 was very enjoyable! The B&B is handily located for the lookout over the Three... More

Enjoyed our visit to Shelton Lea to spend a few days in the Blue Mountains. We had the Amaroo Suite which was lovely. Very comfortable and the breakfasts were very tasty. Paul and Jenny were very friendly and helpful. A great base for touring the Blue Mountains.

Lovely cosy, extremely clean, mountain bungalow with good heating and great beds. We appreciated the special little extras - chocolates, port, delicious plate of pikelets dropped in to us on a wet afternoon. Great breakfast, try the fruit pancakes - yummy! Our hosts Jenny and Paul were great, very attentive and yet unobtrusive. Spacious rooms with a living area and... More

Shelton-Lea is everything you could hope for and more; it combines the privacy you can only find in a hotel with the warmth and hospitality of a great B&B. Jenny and Paul are wonderful hosts and the surprises keep piling up. Port and chocolates, a variety of cooked breakfasts to choose from (the pancakes with fresh fruits are awesome and... More

I stayed in the Allambie Suite and it was like staying in a self contained flat - it has a country/heritage vibe and feels private and safe. It was roomy, had a nice modern bathroom with spa (and you can turn the flatscreen t.v. in the lounge round and you can relax and watch it while you,re in it and... More

This is one of the best - if not THE best - b & bs we have enjoyed, and we have stayed in many! Jenny and Paul's attention to detail is impeccable. It includes a warm welcome, chocolates and wine, a warmed room after we're out in the cold and delicious breakfasts ... not to mention a mid afternoon sweet... More

From the minute we booked to the day we left, Jenny and Paul were so very accommodating. Upon arrival we were upgraded which was a lovely surprise.
