Had a 2 night stay in a family room at Easter. This is not the most modern hotel but it is absolutely spotless with the most comfortable bed and pillow I think I've ever had in a motel. We had a back room which was incredibly quiet. The shower was great with plenty of hot water. Microwave, kettle and jug... More

Booked in to stay at Alabaster for two nights on return from big motorcycle function. Had a great time seeing the sights of Cowra during the day. Bbest of all was being able to order a wonderful meal in our room each night , not having to get on the bike to go out. Older style motel but great staff,... More

We lucked into The Alabaster Motel while we were driving to the Jenolan Caves from Melbourne. Our family of four wanted to get as far as we could for the night, but be sure we could have a reasonable place to lay our heads to revive for the final leg of our journey. The Alabaster was happy to accommodate us... More

Stayed here a couple of nights in the family suite. The unit was aging, but still very clean and comfortable with 2x flat-screen TV and a good-sized fridge. The hotel is located on the main road, but road noise was not a problem - unlike noise from the neighboring unit where one could hear even them plugging in their phones... More

Thank you for your feedback. We would disagree with the statement that our deluxe family unit is aging - we have had the unit repainted within the last 12 months, along with new carpet, modern air con, and the installation of 2 new flat screen LCD/LED televisions. We would agree that our bathrooms could be regarded as aging, however we... More

We stayed here one night on our mini-road-trip to the mid North Coast of NSW. Our room was on the upper level looking out over the valley. It was clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet and cared for. The owner was friendly and helpful. Yes, a place we would go back to next time we are in the area. More

We stayed overnight in one of the cheaper rooms at the front of the motel which turned out to be excellent value for the price. Bright, roomy, very clean and comfortable - just what you want. The motel is just outside the main part of town and has great veiws across the paddocks. We took advantage of the table and... More

My partner and I travelled to Cowra for the long weekend. This is our second stay here, and Ian the owner who remembered us, was very friendly and welcoming. Our first stay was for the Cherry Blossom Festival in 2010, we arrived at 11:30pm, and Ian was very accommodating and considerate towards our late arrival. The room (4) was heated... More

The motel is well maintained and very clean. Our room was No 2 which is pleasantly decorated. The bathroom is very clean and the shower is excellent. The bed is comfortable. There is a digital TV, electric blanket, good quiet air conditioner, kettle, toaster, microwave and hairdryer. Free internet is available in the room. The swimming pool is clean and... More

Great room (dated but very clean and tidy) New TV, Microwave. The manager/owner were so helpful and so nice. The meal we had (bangers and mash) and it was just like a real home cooked meal that we needed at the time. The bed was so soft, maybe to soft for some but we had a great night sleep. The... More
