Rooms comfortable, good serice, staff excel and nothing appears to be a problem. Pub food and take away chinese next door. The rooms are ageing but clean and roomy for a weeks stay. More

We went to Cessnock to visit an older relative and this hotel was close by.Room slightly dated but clean and comfortable. Very close to the pub which offered great food at good prices. I loved the free wi-fi in our room. Great base to visit wineries. More

Hotel Australia is a nice and highly affordable place to stay. The entire hotel is clean and tidy. The staffs at this place are quite friendly and helpful. We went to Cessnock to see a show at the Performing Arts Centre and were looking for somewhere to stay the night at a reasonable price. This fit the bill perfectly.
