“Lovely hot bath”

We stayed at Somerset House during our coast to coast walk in the wettest April for years. We arrived soaked to our skin, Ashley welcomed us and soon had our coats and boots drying out. 4 of us stayed here in 3 room during our Coast to Coast walk. It is a great, warm and comfortable place and the owner Ashley is an excellent host, he really couldn't do enough for us. Breakfasts were perfect and it was our favourite b&b on the entire walk. We will return to Somerset House very soon!! More

Stayed here late 2011 for a family wedding which was taking place at Judges in Yarm. Stayed in converted barn, which had recently been renovated. Full English Breakfast was great, even hashbrowns. Good set-up, ideal for C2C walkers. More

One of the best places we stayed at during our coast to coast hike. The property has been recently renovated, so the the rooms are very sleek and modern in an old farm house setting.
