The Whitsunday organic b&b was lovely. Janet is very friendly and will provide advice on all local activities or excursions. Tea and coffee is available all day and a lovely personalized breakfast is provided every day. The b&b is located just a short ten minute stroll into town and has great views over the harbour/ bay. We only stayed one night (in room 1) and booked it last-minute due to a change of plans when we cut short our cruise. It was tucked away up a hill with great views of the bay in the distance. The room was large with an ensuite shower room nicely decorated with lots of reclaimed wood. No TV or entertainment... More

Janet and Wolfgang are amazing hosts. I spent 10 days with them and enjoyed their bed and breakfast . It was a calm cool respite from the heat and the daily business in Airlie Beach. The food was very fresh, and the coffee tasty. So I enjoyed sitting on their deck having breakfast after my daily run and swin. I... More

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and appreciated the friendly owners, as well as fresh delicious food, and clean and comfortable accommodations. We were offered a charming room as well as a shared refrigerator full of ice-cold bottled rain water. Breakfast each morning was delicious. Beautiful tomatoes with organic eggs and homemade rye bread as well as hot... More

Janet...the owner and operator of this organic bed and breakfast has totally left us with a bad impression of Australia. We booked thru wottif.com for five nights on February 20th, 2012. Upon arriving we realized that there were diving boats that would tour you thru the islands,,,,our ideal dream trip as we are from Canada. Although Janet verbally agreed that... More

After going out of their way to please the guests, the owners and management are upset to read reports like this. These guests booked with Wotif.com: under the regulations that they accepted on booking they are not entitled to a refund for changing their mind. But we agreed to give these guests a refund outside the normal procedure and before... More

It was great to find accomodation that is genuinely pet friendly, not just pet tollerant, Wolfgang and Janet were very welcoming to us and our dog. The location was great, just a short stroll to Airlie Beach main street and beach. The accomodation was neat, tidy and well presented with great views from the balcony over the bay. Wolfgang and... In September 2011, my wife emailed Organic B&B through STAYZ website and then direct with Organic B&B and booked us and a small dog for 2 nights’ accommodation, this being 30th and 31st December 2012. This accommodation was to end a wonderful holiday experience we had up north in Queensland and to see the New Year in on the beach... More

Enjoyed our stay at Whitsunday Organic. Staff were very helpful and booked us a really fantastic (and suitable to our needs) sailing trip and held our luggage while we were gone (2 nights). Our room was very comfortable and the little touches like organic soap and homemade breakfast were excellent. It's pricey but we felt it was worth it. More

Recently my wife, dog and I together with a friend found ourselves waiting in Airlie Beach for some repairs to be completed on our car. Once our accommodation had run out we decided to book a few nights at the Organic B&B as a special treat. We found a special on 'Stayz' and called to make an enquiry. Surprise number... More

To answer this review saddens us somewhat we had discussed these points with these guests and we thought any misunderstandings had been ironed out. We were unaware that they remained so disgruntled and they obviously had not understood the fact of them receiving a discount. We are pet friendly and to correct a point we have a designer room and... More

I would not recommend staying at the Organic Bed and breakfast in Airlie Beach. We stayed there for 2 nights in May this year, 2011, and found the hosts not so hosty at all. In fact, I would have to say that the lady who runs the B&B, Janet, was very rude and unwelcoming. She made us feel like we... More
