Driving up to the Karratha International for the first time was quite confronting. It looks like an old prison from the outside with no windows showing and surrounded by an expanse of bitumen carpark. However, once you find the front reception, its actually quite nice and freshly presented inside. The staff were very friendly and the room was recently renovated... More

Stayed at the Karratha International for one nite on the way through, surprisingly for Karratha and the limited accomodation available the cost wasnt too bad at $245. Got a king size bed and very nice room. Stylish and clean and good room service. Bed too firm for us - Only had a light mattress cover with the elastic ties, a... More

In hot and dry Karratha this was a nice stay for a couple of nights. Facilities are upper market for the location, room comfortable and A/C worked well and was quiet. Expensive but then so is everything in the region. Karratha itself is worth a visit as one of the engine rooms of Australia, and you could do a lot... More

The rooms actually look much better inside that from the outside but nothing can overcome the fact that because of the nature Karratha everything including the accommodation is incredibly overpriced. Room was ok, without being good or bad and is actually quiet surprising compared with the rest of Karratha but compared to anywhere else in the world just run of... More

Thank goodness the room was nice because that is the only good thing about it! Not exactly the 'Corporate room Im used to' Woke up for breakfast, 2 people in the breakfast area, not exactly busy but still no coffee ready nor hot water for a cuppa tea. No hot breakfast food had to order & pay - it wasnt... More

I have now stayed several times on business, and thankfully they are paying. Given the harsh locale, the KI is a bit if an oasis of relative comfort. Rooms - large and well appointed. Air con - excellent and quiet. Bathroom - well lit and spacious (shower heads tend to "silt up" with minerals and could do with more regular... More

This is going to be a tough one. Karratha is unlike the rest of the world. As a matter of fact it is unlike any other place in Australia either. Karratha is at the heart (and possibly) the soul of the West Australian resources boom. Billions are being spent in the region every day and with the sheer influx of... More

Held a function for 40 Clients and overall was not impressed. The food was nothing short of fantastic, however, the service, attitude and and hospitality was awful. The bar was left unattended for periods of time and staff packed up around us whilst our Company was entertaining Clients. There was also not enough seats allocated for the booking that was... More

If flying 21-hrs to Australia isn’t masochistic enough for you. Upon arriving in Perth (WA), should you choose to remain on the plane another 2-hrs; you’ll find yourself in a place called Karratha. Karratha is a hot dry place, where the red ionised soil clings to both body and soul with equal ferocity. When you need respite from the enormity... More

Was here for a day in June 2009. This hotel is located a few minutes walk from the Shopping Centre. Just like All Seasons Karratha, this hotel also gives the look of a motel from outside but is quite nice inside. There was a flat screen TV inside but of limited use as there were very few channels here and... More
