My partner & I stayed here over the Easter break as other places were either booked out or ridiculously expensive (be prepared to spend up to $500 a night for a basic room in other hotels in this rip-off town). We weren't expecting much but were very pleasantly surprised. We stayed in the studio room (bungalow) which had its own little kitchen, bathroom & bedroom - all very cosy and well fitted out. The kitchen had a fridge, oven & grill, toaster, kettle (tea making facilities provided) with pots and pans so you could easily cook a meal if you wanted. The bed (queen size) was comfortable and the sitting area in the kitchen had a table & a couple of tub chairs (not the most comfortable but more than adequate). The bathroom was a decent size - shower was clean and reasonably sized. The reception had a little shop with drinks, tourist guides & sunscreen etc. if you got caught out & didn't want to run to the shops. Conveniently located close to Karratha's centre...
