This motel provided for us ample living space, a warm environment including efficient under floor heating and comfortable bedding and bed. It also had a functional recently renovated kitchen and was central to walking trails and attractions. It was clean and quiet and hence all our basic needs were well met. Our rating 3.5 - but with potential for higher.... More

The chalet-style accommodation is everything needed for a short or long stay. If looking for modern accommodation then this is not for you. But if looking for very comfortable and very clean accommodation with self-catering capacity, including your own quality washing maching, then this is for you. It has real character. (Iron and ironing board is available in room available... More

Was recommended by a friend and not disappointed. Spacious lodge for four adults. Fully serviced kitchen area and our own laundry facilities. Had a little problem with the lock on our door but with a joint effort from 1 of our party and the owner it was soon remedied. It's a little walk into the town a pleasant stroll through... More

This is the second time I have stayed at Arrowtown Viking Lodge and I am still impresed by the large spacious units with all the mod cons. Wide screeen TV's have been added since I was last here but it is the space and quiet that attracts me back. Stayed for the Motatapu and needed the walk in to town... More

We stayed here for a week over the Xmas break. This place was quiet, clean and comfortable. It is a bit old and dated. Rooms vary with differences in decor and furniture because they are individually owned. Great pool and BBQ area. Location is good with an ambling 10min walk to town. Arrowtown is an awesome wee town with great... More

We stayed only one night there and found it just enough. We actually regreted we chose that place instead of picking others available, closer to the town... anyway, the main problem was the stuffy and hot room with no air-conditioning system. The rest was pretty basic, except for the fact that they have a washing machine which can be useful... More

What a blast, close enough to the bright lights of Queenstown for a night out but a much nicer place to wake up in. Spacious apartments and the swimming pool was a definite plus after a big night. Walked into the local for dinner and had way too much to eat and drink. Planning a return trip sometime. More

My husband and 9 year old child stayed here for 2 nights to use as our base for our activities in Queenstown which for us was a much quieter option than staying in Queenstown itself. The room which was on 2 levels was clean, roomy and well appointed with a good sized kitchen. Being only a short drive away from... More

We stayed here for 1 night after flying into Queenstown from the North Island. We were so glad we stayed in Arrowtown for the night. Our room was clean & warm, included a full kitchen & washing machine. Sky TV made the kids happy, & we were only a short walk into Buckingham St. More
