Four of us stayed in a two room type unit, with kitchen area & bathroom (complete with washing machine). The main room featured a double bed and the second room, two singles. Tennant creek isn't Beverley Hills or Paris. But, despite not being a tourist town, it is safe and quite interesting. The Desert Sands is an adequate hotel, reasonably clean and at $110 for a queen & single as well as kitchen is quite good for what it is, where it is. More

A Nice Affordable Room. Almost like an apartment - Kitchen, Bathroom/Laundry. Fitted with modern Furniture and Electronics. Was kept up a bit from Community Housing close by, but no major disappointments. No Where to get dinner on a Monday Night though, had to settle for Red Rooster. More
