I would like to warn travellers that your booking (even though you prepaid as we did and confirmed it) is not guaranteed to be what you booked if the management wants to keep another booking who is paying more than you. We stayed for two nights in the suite, which was spacious, very well equipped and spotless. Susie was a lovely host, very helpful and welcoming. This is a beautiful property, just a short drive from the striking Nitmiluk (Katherine Gorge). There is a lovely garden, grounds, and swimming pool. Wallabies abound of an evening. The rooms were clean and pleasant, and there's a guest kitchen stocked with cooking equipment, complimentary drinks (both soft drinks and alcoholic), as well as plentiful coffee/tea and basic breakfast supplies.... the family running this lodge are lovely but unfortunately we suffered alot of hiccups here. Most of all I was concerned about the size of the rooms - they are very small. The location is very nice however I'd suggest only stay here if you take out one of the two suites (or larger rooms) that I think they have.... More

We stayed in the cottage at Maud Creek Country Lodge. It was spacious, scrupulously clean, quiet, picturesque, very comfortable and far enough from the rowdies in Katherine to be extremely pleasant accommodation.
