Situated near Woolies in First Street you can walk everywhere. The hostel is basic but friendly and the Artwork (aboriginal ) itself makes the stay worthwhile. Coco is a mine of information and even if you don't want to stay in a backpackers a visit here is a must.

This backpackers is basic, with camping ground and two kitchens. The owners are friendly with very relaxed and laid back attitude. The hostel is quiet, stayed in total nearly 5 weeks. Recommend it. Katherine is an outback town so expect the randomness.
