Stayed here in April 2013 on a Friday night. Hotel is nicely renovated with good atmosphere BUT it is a venue for live (and loud) music until after midnight. Our room actually vibrated the noise was so loud. Sleep was impossible. Even cleaning up staff played music and talked loudly. There are no rooms to escape this noise. My advice... More

We only used the Criterion to eat in having been disappointed when our first choice restaurant was fully booked. However it proved a very sound choice with a good value menu in an interesting setting. I can recommend the Lamb Shank. Service was pleasant and efficient
