“The Annex is a shocker”

Had the misfortune to stay a night in the Annex, which resembles a zero star concrete block style, very old motel unit. The rooms are shocking, painted block walls, old shower/toilet ensuite, the wardrobe was a dark hole, with unpainted dirty brick walls. The tiny bench fridge was completely empty and not so clean. Stayed here for a night during summer and found the room spacious and comfortable. However, the hotel bar below was very noisy. Patrons must smoke on the footpath outside and the constant noise is disturbing. Deliveries started very early to the side of the complex. Nice size room and good quality. Colonial style with rooms above the hotel. Good food. Rooms all refurbished. Parking off street.
