This was my second visit to Santalina and won't be my last. The top floor unit is well laid out but it's a pity the owner doesn't replace the carpet or put tiles down. Likewise for the kitchen sink. Santalina is situated on the esplanade near the jetty which was convenient for us as we could just walk there and do a bit of fishing. We didn't catch anything but it was fun! Hervey Bay was bigger than we expected and we had a ball exploring this coast, which was not affected by the flooding and is BTW open for business as usual.
