Fantastic pool and garden areas in the middle of the Goldfields. Found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Slept well in a very comfortable bed in a generous one bedroom apartment.

We joined the Priority Guest club as this is where we always stay when we visit Kalgoorlie. The breakfast wasn't great but we tend to BYO most times anyway. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. I also enjoy the quiet residential area the hotel is in. There was a strong smell of bleach when entering the... More

Dear AnnieH, Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay, I am pleased that you found our new Dream Beds comfortable and appreciated that larger size rooms than you would normally recieve in a hotel. Based on your feedback we are currently looking at different chemical products for cleaning that leave little odour once used. I do appreciate your... More

We stayed at Rydges over the Easter break 2012 and agree with the previous recent comment that the hotel is in a quiet location and unfortunately, has bad coffee! We managed to skip breakfast because we had BYO food from home (Perth). We had dinner in the Prime West grill restaurant for our anniversary. The menu, food and service was... More

Dear Aussies11, Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay. I am disappointed that you recieved bad coffee and found stains on the carpets in your room. We have addressed that standards of our coffee making and provided more training for the staff and I am now confident that we are indeed serving a quality product. In regards to... More

Stayed for Easter weekend 2012. The hotel is very nice but not luxurious. Pool is interesting, with a covered area. Food service. We didn't like the breakfast buffet, few fruits and bad coffee and expensive $30 pp. The hotel is in a residential area, so it is nice because it does not have noise, but there are no business close,... We stayed at the Rydges for 2 nights. I was very surprised just how out of town it is . However it is in spacious grounds and is surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden. The room was lovely , decor fine and it was clean. When we arrived there was a sand ash try on the landing with about 50... More

I stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which was comfortable apart from the smoke alarm repeatedly going off in the middle of the night due to the batteries. Not ideal being woken by this after a long day on the road. Further to this, the alarm problem could not be rectified therefore it was just removed from the room for... More

Dear Jimbuk8, Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay at Rydges Kalgoorlie Resort and Spa. I recently have returned from trip to WA of where I stayed two nights in Rydges Kalgoorlie. It was the most expensive place I stayed during my ten day trip and was by far the worst. We made the terrible mistake of going to Kalgoorlie on a LONG WEEKEND Heaven forbid thinking this would be a great time to see Kalgoorlie WRONG!!! EVERYTHING WAS CLOSED!!!!!!!! Definitely one of the best hotels in Kalgoorlie. Room was large and clean and the bed comfortable. Décor was a bit old but still in pretty good condition.
