Stayed for two nights, and enjoyed every minute. Each unit opens up into the gardens. My room was small, without at all being cramped. Nicely decorated. The veranda would be great for warm summer evenings. A small kitchenette was attached, complete with fridge, microwave, toaster, cutlery and plates. We stayed in one of the cottages which was very nice and had a comfortable bed. The breakfast was a disappointment and consisted of four slices of bread in a plastic bag with a little pots of jam, tiny pot of orange juice (the type you get on an aeroplane) and two apples all in a basket in the fridge.... Stoked with the room, had a lovely country cottage feel while being very clean and new. 4 poster bed and some sweet wooden furniture. Compete with horses in Gero once or twice a year and would definitely go back next time. Didnt have a reason to see the owners a lot but they seemed lovely when checking in and out.

I do not (nor should I) expect too much for c50GBP per night. However, I would expect the hosts to actually be in when we arrive or at least have left a note/keys.
