I stayed in one of three rooms available at The Lighthouse Keepers Lodge, at the Flagstaff Maritime Village, Warrnambool over the Easter period. The lodge was within the grounds of the maritime village which made it so convenient for visiting the exhibits. The lodge was beautifully kept, period features, yet with modern facilities. There are shared kitchen and living space,... More

What an amazing find. We rang up last minute and they had availability. Yaye!! and the BEST deal we have recvd on our trip - $175 and an empty house. The kitchen and lounge was shared (but as alone it was all ours). Beautiful renovated building! Our room had a simple ensuite. Bed comfortable. Could lock the door so very... More

The room we had was fabulous and the shared kitchen and common area were wonderful. We were the only ones there the night we stayed so we had the whole house to ourselves. We were able to walk next door for the "Shipwreck" event at the museum and we were within walking distance to all the restuarants in town. This... More

Thank you for kind review. Our staff and volunteers at the museum and lighthouse lodge take great pride in our facility and thank you for your support. The property you stayed in is an important historic building that we have restored so that we can provide our guests with the experience of staying on site adjacent to our lighthouses. I... More

We really liked Flagstaff Hill. It felt like home to us. After weeks of traveling through Australia, staying at numerous hotels and apartments, Flagstaff Hill had an extraordinarily comfortable atmosphere that was just what we needed. It was impeccably clean, super quiet, and perfectly equipped for cooking. We felt so at home there... nothing fancy, but blissful all the same!

The Lighthouse Lodge was a quite and serne place to stay that is so close to the town centre you can walk. We stayed in and cooked dinner one night and walked up to the RSL for dinner the next. Both were as great as each other. Would highly recommend a few nights stay. Thank you

Beautifully renovated period property offering 3 good sized guest rooms and every modern comfort. The house was spotlessly clean and some very thoughtful touches such as fresh flowers and herbs in the kitchen made it feel very homely and welcoming. Perfect location for a visit to the Flagstaff Hill Maritime Museum, just a short walk to shops and cafes, or... More

An unusual heritage property, the old Harbour Masters House, is a very comfortable and well done conversion/ careful restoration with modern conveniences. You rent the whole house (3 bedrooms) or just one room. There is a fully fitted kitchen which is shared and lounge area. The situation is superb, close to the sea, next to the Flagstaff Hill tourist attraction... More

We stayed here for three nights, the third of which was New Year's Eve. The lodge has been superbly restored and is furnished to a very high standard throughout. We enjoyed the stay, and made good use of the excellent facilities. We also had excellent seats for the New Year firework display, so an excellent trip all round. Just one... More
