We have only just arrived and checked in but thought I'd write a review based on first impressions. BEAUTIFUL heritage hotel featuring a reading room, laundry facilities and choice of ensuite or shared bathrooms. I would recommend saving money and staying in a room with a shared bathroom. Had Sunday night dinner at the hotel and was very impressed. The menu was quite extensive with a variety of dishes and the food was delicious. We stayed here the night before starting the Great Ocean Road. Whilst first impressions weren't great, I'm glad to say that the rest of the experience made up for it. The hotel is an oldfashioned pub with rooms, which might not suit some people but was great for us. Be warned that there is no lift so you will need... More
