This was my first hostel in Australia and it was a great experience. From the moment I arrived at 11pm everyone was very friendly with the reception staff making me feel very welcome, asking me what my plans were for my trip and knowing they were there to help. I was upgraded to a 4 bed dorm and this was... More

This hostel is fantastic. The rooms are clean. The kitchen is by far the biggest I have come across in Australia and its clean! There is a nice courtyard and a huge social area inside too. The bathrooms are really modern. There is parking and it's only 5 minutes walk t fitzroy street and a few more to the beach,... More

This is by far and away the best hostel I stayed in Australia. All the people who stay there are there for the right reasons; The beds, rooms and surroundings are all super comfortable; The organised tours take you to the best local bars and eating places... Oh and the kitchen, It's a proper kitchen with proper hobs and everything.... More

This place is awesome. A friend and I shelled out a bit more money for a private room and were pleasantly surprised. It was as good as a hotel, sheets and towels provided, lovely and quiet and in a really awesome location. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! More

St Kilda is a lively area with easy tram ride into the city. The hostel is right by the tram stop & within easy walking to the shops, pubs & beach. The staff are friendly & helpful with good size rooms with aircon. Clean bathrooms. A good selection of things you can join in with are also offered. I'd definitely... More

Friendly and helpful staff, good atmosphere (great lounge), spacious kitchen, clean rooms (though quite small), clean showers/toilets, young crowd partying every night till late (and room floors totally soundproof), Aldi discount store next door and plenty of eateries nearby. The only downside: lost in the middle of nowhere, though well connected by tramway. More

I've stayed in a double room. Room was like in a hotel, very clean and nice bathroom. Staff were very helpful, location is good, close to the tram, but a little further from the beach. No noise at night. More
