I stayed for three nights recently and really enjoyed the experience. The room was comfortable and quiet, food quite good and plenty of it. Breakfasts are a bit on the light side, but still adequate. Pity that no menu is offered in-between breakfast and dinner. No complaints and recommend to others.

Hotel staff were very helpful, friendly, the rooms very nice and very clean, the resturant was okay! It was nice to have the free internet in the lobby, nice touch! Would recommend this hotel as clean and great price!

this is the second time I have stayed at the Mercure in Bairnsdale. The rooms are still very new and in good order. I still found the restaurant to be pricey so dined in a local pub only a couple of minutes drive, club hotel $14 pot and parma ! you cant go wrong.
