'Werona' was the most perfect sart of our first visit to Tasmania. Betty and Tony , in a pleasantly quiet and unobtrusive way , were the most lovely and warmhearted hosts we have so far encountered and made us feel very welcome every minute of our stay. 'Welcome' included chocolates and a carafe of port in the room which also... More

Made a last minute booking and was pleased that host was willing to give a break to a solo traveler. Stayed in smaller room which was immaculately maintained. Host EXTREMELY accommodating relative to breakfast requests. I stayed two extra days as a result of host hospitality.

First trip to Tasmania stayed at other B&B's in Tassie and this was by far the most wonderful experience and best sleep we have ever had on any trip! Betty and Tony are wonderful hosts and are there if you want a chat or find out info about the area or are subtley in the background and understand its your... More

A beautifully maintained house in which the attention to detail is oustanding. The hosts were extremely helpful and more than willing to share their knowledge of the history of the house. The rooms and furniture reflect the charming atmosphere of that period and are comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good with a special diet catered for. The location,... More

We recently had the pleasure of staying with Betty and Tony who welcomed us into their home and certainly made us feel at home. Betty even offered to make me a cup of tea! We can't imagine how much time it must take them to keep their home immaculate - but immaculate it was. Our room (Joan) was very large,... More

A superbly and lovingly maintained heritage B and B in the heart of Launceston. The owners, Tony and Betty have managed to strike the perfect balance in offering attentive service in a quiet and unabtrusive manner. We stayed in the Justin Suite which was delightfully decorated with items in keeping with the period of the home, was private and contained... More

The room is very nice & tidy. Betty & Tony are nice hosts. We love the laundry - which is the best when we stayed at Tasmania. The breakfast is delicious. We were also spent some good time at billiard room. We're the couple from HKG. The place really like our home & enjoy to spend time there.

The Werona Heritage is a beautiful structure furnished very nicely. After struggling to find the B & B and turning up a very steep drive, there were no other cars in the very small parking area. I pulled in and stepped out to be greeted by "Well that's the first thing you did wrong!" The inn keeper, looking down from... More
