Stayed here and what a beautifull old house done up for Accomodation , we found the staff very friendly , rooms just perfect , We loved the area and walked around viewing the beautifull old houses that are in Launceston

My wife and I had a long-awaited weekend without the three kids. The Edenholme Grange (Victorian room) provided us with a great romantic atmosphere as well as location from which to enjoy Launceston in the short time we had. Great old building and wonderfully appointed rooms, but somehow just falls short. Whilst beds and bathrooms were clean, the whole place needs a good spring clean - cobwebs in corners, dirty window sills etc. Car wrecks in the grounds, washing machine boxes outside back doors. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a wonderful window into Victorian living in a beautifully restored home. We stayed in the Settler Cottage. Great service, beautiful old historic home and close to all amenities. I have no hesitation in recommending this B & B to anyone & will be staying there again.
