Was told at the time of booking that room contained cooking fascilities. I'm sorry, but a microwave is not cooking facilities. The manager said that they were allowed to say that due to their star rating from RACQ. I phoned RACQ and they did not concur with the managers statement.

Chose this place for overnight stay because of quiet beachside location only 10 minutes drive from Mackay city. No city or highway noise. Adequate continental breakfast included in tariff. Disappointed there were no security/fly screens on any windows or doors. Otherwise comfortable stay.
