We spent two nights in Cabin A (wonderful views of the Pioneer Valley). Luckily the weather had cleared although the mist rolled in the first night. We managed to see the platypus both nights - magical. The Cabin must have been the cleanest I have been in and we have stayed in cabins for over 10 years now , travelling... More

Thank you for your kind review. I am happy to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. Cabin A is a favourite with many guests, the views are absolutely breathtaking from the private balcony. We offer competitively priced year round tariffs and we do not charge extra for peak/high seasons. During the quieter months of February and November we also... More

The view from the cabin is just spectacular and the price is very reasonable especially in the off season which is now. Self contained but close to pub, shop and other eateries. A great place to relax and chill.

We spent one night in Cabin A at the start of our honeymoon roadtrip of the East Coast and it was a perfect stay. The cabin had everything we needed and was lovely and clean and spacious enough for the two of us for the one night. It was great to have air con in both the living room and... More

Stayed here for one night for a little weekend getway, and were very happy with our choice of accomodation. The cabins are reasonably new, spotlessly clean and well equiped to self-cater. Ofcourse the view is amazing, and the fireflies at night were a bonus! my only slight negative was the cabin did have a bit of a musty smell, but... More

Hi, Thank you for your review. All cabins are regularly aired, weather permitting. However, I did notice that one cabin had a slight musky smell, which I think was caused from moisture entering when windows were left open from a previous guest. Steps have been taken to remedy this. Sorry if the email info was a little misleading. A shared... More

The setting overlooking Pioneer Valley is stunning and the local area is full of interesting places to explore. The cabins have all the basics you need (but don't expect broadband and loads of TV channels) and the local is area is scenic, peaceful and relaxing. We particularly enjoyed Broken River (Platypus viewing) and the Finch Hatton Gorge which has some... More

I had heard that Eungella was the best place in Australia to see platypus in the wild, but not that it was such a beautiful spot. Mountain Edge Escape, is great accommodation too. There are only 3 cabins, so you can enjoy the peace from your big verandah, which has the most spectacular views down the Pioneer valley. We were... More

We honeymooned in Eungella a couple of years ago & absolutely loved the area! A friend recommended staying at Mountain Edge Escape this time around, as she had stayed with them last year. What a pleasant surprise! The cabins look quite new and they are very clean. They are located at the top of Eungella Range, right in the middle... More
