We stayed at the Rainbow Commodore in March 2012. It was great, cant believe its 3 star. We were on the 2nd floor and loved it...could keep the door to balcony open 24/7 and the breeze was refreshing, which is not always possible on the upper levels by all reports. The appartment was well appointed and very spacious. The pool was always clean and 25 degrees. 2 minutes walk to surf beach was a bonus. 1 minute to mini mart for milk, bread etc and also a butcher, grog shop and cafe as well as awesome nori rolls in the fish and chip shop.Not too far to main shops, 5 minute walk. We will be going back.
