This hotel is now under new management and reviews pre November 2010 may be inaccurate!! It will be interesting to see what patrons think? It is hard to follow such a great reputation. My husband and I have used this hotel for short stays in the area but sadly no more. More

This is an older building. But the location - two blocks away from Wollongong's spectacular North Beach - is superb! And Michelle and Mark are perfect hosts. We stayed in the Normandie Motel for 1 night in March. The hosts were very friendly and the rooms were very clean! Unfortunately the bed wasn't that comfortable and the WIFI didn't work in our room on the first floor. More

We stayed at the Normandie for 4 nights. It was one of my favorite hotels in Australia. A small cozy hotel. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. One of the only rooms we found in Australia that had free internet service. Rooms were clean, hot water pot with coffee and even a refridgerator. Great value would highly recommend. More
