This place is like entering a New Delhi Slum washing hanging everywhere , rubbish hanging out of over flowing garbage bins & rude staff. We were moved here from another hotel without consultation by text the day before. On entering room I almost slipped puddles of water everywhere took 2 hours with door open to dry floor. 11pm a male knocked on door to buy drugs. Then the night roadworks started lights lit up the room & the beep from the trucks started. The black curtain on the door did nothing to block light out. We stayed there to relieve stress for an early morning hospital check in but it created more. Upon early check out I had to remove overflowing garbage bins with cats out of driveway so we could exit. n entering f

This is the worst place I nearly stayed at! Apologies for the long story but I wouldn’t stay at any of the affiliated appartments owned by this company. I originally booked at Boulevard on Beaumont a year in advance as I was attending the Pink concert. (I had stayed at Boulevard previously and found it ok). Once they found out Pink was on and accomodation was in high demand my 2 bedroom apartment was all of a sudden requiring maintenance (I looked on the website and noticed that the 2 bedroom apartments were now double to triple the price from when I had booked). I was told I had to move to Honeysuckle appartments. I was offered 2 x 1 bedroom appartments. All of a sudden both of the apartments they had promised were apparently sold and no longer available and I was advised that all that was available now was a 1 bedroom apartment in Jesmond and if I didn’t like it to cancel. This was approximately 2 weeks before the concert. As I booked through booking.com I sent numerous messages to both booking.com and Boulevard on Beaumont to advise I didn’t want to stay in Jesmond and I wanted to look into why when I had received 2 confirmations that my original apartment was not available. Booking.com kept advising that my original booking was not cancelled in their system (even after I supplied all the text messages I was receiving) and Boulevard on Beaumont just kept stating it was too bad and if I didn’t like it to cancel. With feeling like I didn’t have any choice, accomodation was now extremely limited and anywhere close to the stadium was booked I arrived at Jesmond and I was advised I now had a 2 bedroom apartment. I got to the apartment and there were all empty alcohol bottles, cigarette butts everywhere, 2 drunk men that apparently live in the complex yelling vulgar remarks making us feel totally uncomfortable and unsafe. The apartment they gave us looked like it is used for emergency housing, everything was old and broken. I called booking.com to advise we wouldn’t be staying here and was advised that they would investigate and get back to me straight away with suitable accommodation. We didn’t hear back until 6.30am the next day! We live about 2.5 hours away and were left without any accommodation for the night. I’ve stayed in some dodgy places before but I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy!

Called to book as I needed to bring my small dog for 1 night. Asked for a balcony room so I could put my dogs grass mat outside for her to go to the toilet on. The gentleman on the phone said yes we have a balcony room upstairs where dogs are permitted. He then said how much is it online? I said $115.00 he then said it's an extra $20.00 for the dog. I agreed and said that's fine as long as it has a balcony. He said I'll send you the link so you can book. I pay online with my card. We arrived around 10.30 on the night, the unit was downstairs no balcony and not near any grass. The office shuts at 8.00pm, so the next morning at 8.00 I'll called the office and explained I didn't receive what I paid for. The Manager I spoke to was so rude and couldn't care less. He said what do you what me to do about it?? I said I hadn't received the room that I booked and paid for? He basically didn't care then accused me saying well you didn't even pay for the dog! I said I beg your pardon I paid $135.00, he then said oh yes you did....no apology! Hang up on me. I would never stay here again!!! You pay for a certain room you expect to get what you paid for!!

1 rating is way too generous! Dirty sheets, soap bar had hair on it, stank of stale smoke. Absolutely filthy! Stayed with husband, teenager & dog. The dog didn’t even want to stay the night. My daughter wiped the bedside table with a wet one and it was black! Absolutely disgusting!

Don’t waste your money. I selected the spa and shower room which was advertised to have a balcony and removable shower head in the photos. Did not get either of these. Spa did not work in my room and when I raised this I was told they would get onto it. Went back 4 hours later to find out what was happening with it and was told it’s a Sunday we aren’t doing anything about it till at least Monday. No offer to change rooms until I asked about it or a refund. Ended up changing rooms but the new room was dirty and no towels supplied. Had to chase up reception for towels. While we were still changing room reception had ask one of the cleaners to come remake our old room so they could reuse it that night without fixing anything. Don’t even think they cleaned the room before moving someone else into it.

Do yourself a favour and DO NOT STAY HERE. When I walked into reception there was a bag with a bong on it which rang alarm bells. This place seems to be used as emergency accommodation for the homeless and drug affected. Room stank and was filthy. Floor was sticky and had dirt and stuff smeared all over it. When I wiped down the surfaces they were covered in a black soot. Bedding dirty, sink greasy and food scraps in it. Went back to reception and they sent the cleaner back who insisted she had cleaned it. She ran a filthy mop over the floor and left muttering that she had done it already. Man from next door walked into our room and said oh good, some normal people next door to us tonight! We cut our losses and booked somewhere else, so happy we did. (FERN BAY Motel was excellent.) Told reception and he said he could move us but not refund. This place doesn't deserve a star rating at all it is that bad.

Excellent accommodation - very clean and well appointed with free wifi. When I arrived, without a reservation, I was exhausted after a long motorcycle trip in the heat. I was given a 2bedroom self contained villa at a single rate (I was on my own). Very impressed with the room - and after a long, hot ride, especially impressed with the sunken spa! Great pub just across the road for a really good feed!

This place wasn’t good, first impression was horrible, someone sleeping outside of our room and when we walked in there for the first time, there was only 1 bed when we booked for 3 people. There was a man yelling just outside our room, ALL night. The room was not clean, crumbs on the benches, every crevice was filled with gunk and dirt. Very smelly. When we asked reception for some sheets for the sofa bed, they told us it will be there soon and we waited hours until finally going up there ourselves to retrieve the sheets. To finish it off, i’m pretty sure i’m covered in bed bug bites. disgusting 🤢
