We stayed in a "family" room which was so small we had to set our portacot up in the door way. The rooms are dated the pillows definatley need replacing. There was an ironing board but no iron. If your on a budget or need something close to the private hospital it is ok but 1 night stay only.

Very basic cheap accommodation, we stayed in a number of cheap motels in a short space of time and this was by far the worse (although not as bad as one of the hostels we encountered!). I stayed at this motel for one night. It was very clean and the linen and towels were well laundered. The decor is like returning to the 1980's but for what I paid (about $80) it was excellent value. Is in close proximity Lake Macquarie Private Hospital.

We needed a cheap place to stay for a night stop over in Newcastle and found this place on the net. I was a bit worried to start being at the back of the tavern but this turned out to be misfounded. Clean, basic rooms, very comfortable beds and foxtel :) Would stay here again!
