We have just returned from a 2 night stay over the June long weekend. Our package was for a harbour view room with breakfast included and it was quite good value. Great modern decor in room, comfy bed and large shower, harbour view rooms are a bit of stretch can see a bit of water in between buildings. Breakfast was good, nothing special typical buffet breakfast. Dinner was very nice.

This is a very pleasant hotel with friendly efficient staff and clean and comfortable rooms. I'm not sure that any rooms actually have a view of the beach but it is nearby. We were only on the 3rd floor and looked out on a building site but it was still quiet.

Very enjoyable stay. Excellent service by friendly staff in great surroundings.. Comfortable beds in a good sized room. Handy to buses, train station and within walking of beaches and harbour side cafes.

The Novotel Newcastle is a modern, clean and well located hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly. This is our second time at this hotel and we would definitely stay again. Great little bar right next door, Le Petite Cafe.
