Camped here in our tent in January. Tent campers are sent down the back of the caravan near a chain wire fence that faces a road (no trees for privacy from road). The noise at night is unbearable with freight trucks tearing down the back street behind the campground, nearby security and other dogs howling all night every night, and at 5 or 6am the trucks in the industrial yard accross the road start up with their engines and reverse beeping sounds. I bought earplugs and slept quite well the other nights...til one of my earplugs fell out and I lost it!
Despite the ad saying shady spots, there were none that I could see. Trees were scarce and did not provide enough shade to ease the intense heat of Dubbo. The camp kitchen nearby was handy with free gas BBQ, fridge/freezer, tables and a washing up sink. Laundry and clotheslines are ample for number of visitors here. 2 bathoom blocks, we could always get a shower/toilet when needed. Playground is very basic with a swing, slippery...
