Huge room in this large Victorian house. Room sold on the virtue of overlooking the park, but that view is not really much to write home about. Wifi signal a bit haphazard. Good breakfast. Big comfy bed. Hosts fine, although tended to be a little impersonal.
Lindsay House really is very charming and the location is quiet. However, the accommodation is overpriced for what you get, especially given breakfast isn't included in the price. While the rooms are beautifully appointed, the bed we had was uncomfortable and the pillows weren't that great. This isn't good if you're on a driving holiday and need a good sleep...

We stayed at Lindsay House in a large group and had several rooms. Lindsay house is one of Armidale's oldest homes and has been tastefully maintained with an old world charm about it. When we arrived on Friday afternoon for a weekend stay we were welcomed with open arms by the managers. Later on we enjoyed a nice night cap...

Stayed in this B&B for one night. It is a very stately house, built about 1917, and has lovely big rooms, high ceilings and many original fittings and antique furniture. Our bedroom (upstairs at the front) was huge, with a 4 poster bed and furnished in traditional materials. Lovely linen. Doona too heavy however and we wrestled with it all...

I enjoyed three nights at Lindsay House. The House is heritage listed, filled with antiques, and is comfortable. The welcome and service is friendly, warm and sincere.
My executive room was an unexpected very pleasant upgrade. It was large and comfortable with a queen bed, bedside tables and lamps, sofa, dining table, large mirrored wardrobe, large free standing mirror, bar...

Amazing to find this historic, well maintained place on our trip north. So lovingly managed by Deb. Fantastic location in centre of town with plenty of parking. We look forward to stopping here on future trips & seeing more of Armidale & the surrounds.
Very happy that I opted to stay at Lindsay House.
The room was excellent. Perfectly turned out and extremely comfortable.
The room was detailed and had plenty of space. Gigantic bathroom. Genuinely minutes from the CBD - by foot!
Breakfast was spot-on. Served in a lovely room with log fire and very comfortable.
The hostess Deb is very friendly and...

Deb made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was spacious and clean, as are all amenities in the house. Peanut - a Maltese/Poodle - always greeted us with exuberance. Although it was very cold in Armidale, the fires kept the house warm. For those who are not familiar with Armidale, Lindsay House is located in easy...

My husband & I spent 3 fabulous nights at Lindsay House. We stayed in the Enya Room because my knees aren't too good on stairs. The room was spacious and the bathroom was also roomy with a huge shower recess. We travelled by train to Armidale and Lindsay House is within walking distance, even with my knees, of shops and...
