The charm of this place is unbelievable it's a total gem hidden away in Albury. The breakfast is delicious and they had a French Press, for a Yank it was sooo much better then then NesCafe I was used to in Oz. Close to everything but you won't want to leave the grounds the garden is so peaceful and perfect.... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Briardale B&B for 1 night on our way to Melbourne and were extremely impressed! Briardale B&B is only a short drive from the centre of Albury. The house is charming, with unique Victorian themed decor and a magnificent garden. The owners, Robert and Robin (who live on site), are friendly and hospitable and their... More

We stayed here on our way down to Melbourne. The proprietors are very nice and helpful. Location wasn't that great so you need a car. Room was very twee! We had the continental breakfast which was v good compared to others. We did find it a little odd though that the other room was more expensive and had a cooked... More

Thank you for your lovely review. With regard to breakfast, we give our guests the choice of continental or full breakfast at time of booking, eg. Queen Suite with Continental Breakfast, as some guests do not require a full breakfast. We are happy you enjoyed your stay. More

We felt comfortable, rested and relaxed with in this period accommodation "the attention to detail was spot on". Our hosts were genuinely warm and welcoming, and provided us with all the comforts of home, breakfast was beautifully cooked and delicious. We enjoyed a roam around the garden and admired the beautiful lorikeets and other bird life. A fantastic stay, well... More

We stayed one night at Briardale on the way to Melbourne. It took a few minutes to locate but it really is a delightful place to stay and the children were enchanted by the house and gardens. Breakfast wasn't bad either! Highly recommended and I wish we had spent a few more days in the area.

The Briardale is situated in the north of Albury, about a ten minute drive into the city. The neighbourhood is very quiet, the only noise you hear is birds. The rooms are tastefully furnished and have got all you need (no balcony though). The hosts with the easy-to-remember names Robyn and Robert are absolutely lovely and welcoming. There are three... Briardale is all one could ask for in a Bed and Breakfast, comfortable, quiet, well located and with every attention to detail. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed and the beds are comfortable. Being situated in a quiet and charming area of Albury it is supremely quiet and all one can hear is birdsong. The gardens are beautiful and... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Briardale. The hosts Robyn and Robert were thoughtful and considerate hosts. The accommodation was elegant in design; well maintained and very comfortable. This was enhanced by the interesting period furnishings and the beautiful garden. This is a B&B that is well worth visiting.

Home, garden, Rob and Robyn, food, location, comfort.. all were wonderful. The only problem we had was being unable to switch off fan in bathroom when we went to the toilet in the early hours of the morning. It was very loud at that time and annoying for my spouse. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Briardale is a lovely place to spend some time. It has a warm, friendly feel that doesn't lose the secluded, private atmosphere. The owners were lovely, and added a personal touch to the stay.
