Typical motel. It is spotlessly clean and modern even if a bit on the small side. The bed was particuarly comfortable. The absence of a comfortable chair to watch TV was disapointing, as was the wall mounted crt TV. Freiendly and helpful hosts.

this motel is presentable enough on the outside and close enough to the small centre of Te Anau. On the inside it looks dated compared with the other Bella Vista we used around the South Island. No wireless internet was available and the old CRT television placed high up did nothing to improve the image.

We turned up late afternoon with no booking but the owner(?) was really friendly and helpful about finding a room for us. The rooms are clean and tidy and perfectly functional, with a toaster and tea/coffee facilities.
