We stayed in a lot of motels during our five weeks in New Zealand and this was most definately one of our favourites. Great location for walking around the lake or visiting the town centre. Lovely, helpful owners and friendly cat! Very clean,comfortable and quiet.

This was our third motel stay in NZ and we figured they all have the same format. Nice big rooms with a ensuite kitchenette but laundry facilities being in an outside common area. We got the family house and it was great. The only negative thing was the beds were a bit soft. Very clean and able to walk everywhere. The three bedrooms were great as there was two couples and wee took 2 teenage boys

This motel is in a great location - although there is no lake view it is an easy walk into town. The room was very comfortable with the largest TV I've ever seen in a hotel room. Spotlessly clean motel with very spacious rooms and everything provided to be reasonably self sufficient. Very helpful owners with nothing being too much trouble. Really great beds ensured a good nights sleep. Good internet and rooms have been fully refurbished. Rooms have very large TV's with good reception. Walking distance to eateries with many to choose from.

We stayed here for 5 nights in a 2 bedroom motel. Were impressed by the cleanliness of the unit and the friendliness of the owners. Not a lake side view, but only a 2 minute walk down to lake, so this was not a problem at all. Would not hesitate to recommend this motel to anyone.
