I have used Great Lakes for the last 2 years, and will do every time I'm in Te Anau, which is at least annually. The only disappointment was being charged $5 for leaving a bag there when I was returning for a further night.

The 7 of us was given a family unit, that can accommodate 10 persons. The unit is away from the others, thus a quiet & comfortable place. We all loved the place. The price is very reasonable too.

This was a good stopoff point to go and visit Milford Sound. We were also able to go and visit the glowworm caves whilst here.

We (parents and teenage son) stayed in an ensuite cabin for one night - more like a motel room than a motorcamp. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent bathroom.
