We had booked 3 nights at Caples via the internet. Upon arrival, we were somewhat uneasy at the building's appearance as it seemed a little on the tired side. After receiving the room key from the friendly and helpful manager, we were completely surprised to find that our room was quite spacious and had a fantastic view of the town... More

First appearances were a little concerning but whilst olde the unit was clean, comfortable, and had everything you needed,we could walk easily into town, gondola etc and the views were wonderful. Would stay again.

This is the perfect place to stay in Queenstown. The location is great as you can just walk for about 5 minutes to get to the town center. Suitable for long or short stay. Nice view of the whole of Queenstown from the room. Facing the lake. The room is clean as well.

Stayed here for 3 nights in early August. Room was a good size and had a great view of the town and lake. The small kitchen was an added bonus complete with some basic pots and pans. The walk to town was about 5 minutes. We started cutting through the place next door rather than taking the bigger hill up... More

My friends and I stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed ourselves. It was a great location - literally up a small hill from the city center (a 5 minute walk). 4 of us stayed here and found it just the right size. The beds were comfy and even had electric blankets which were most useful when the temperature... More

We spend 3 days at Caples Court with our family of 4. While it was compact, it was also very comfortable. The two sofas were great for lounging around. We enjoyed sitting on the outside balcony with our drinks. Best of all the beds were really comfortable. We all slept well. The free laundry and dryer were most welcome after... More

We holidayed with 6 other families and all stayed at Caples Court. We were all very happy with our units - found them to be very clean, cozy & comfortable .... and what a lovely view! The kitchenettes were great for basic meal preparation and having guest laundry facilities was a great convenience. The units are a short stroll down... More

Caples Court is decent, but not excellent. It's reasonable value, the rooms are pretty spacious and the facilities are reasonable. We were in room #9 with a small balcony overlooking the gondola, which was quite nice. As someone else has noted, the car park is quite tight so be careful when parking.

Caple Court is not a huge motel and is on a small site close to the town, though up the inevitable hill. Fairly small but comfortable and well-equipped unit. Manoeuvrability in the car park is a bit tight so if you have a large vehicle or are not a confident driver, this could be a problem. Owners are friendly and... More
