We stayed at Queenstown House in a 2 bedroom apartment with spectacular views. We were 3 generations travelling together and liked the fact that both bedrooms had en-suite. The location is a short stroll down a steep hill to the city center and then a stroll back up the steep hill home. This was part of a 10 day trip... More

We loved our stays at the Boutique Hotel. We arrived the first night just in time for Louise's wine and snacks and wonderful, gracious company. We met other guests and found it a lovely way to relax. After one night, we went on one of our hikes, and five days later returned to the Boutique Hotel. Our luggage was in... More

The only thing better than the comfort, beauty, and the location of the Queenstown House is the hostess. Louise takes care of everyone like the they're family, making for a magical and unforgettable experience no matter what. If given the opportunity to stay at this spot with this amazing hostess, do not pass it up!! More

We loved Queenstown House. The room was large and spacious, with a nice seating area and large bathroom. The view of Queenstown and the lake was breathtaking, and it was peaceful. Louise was a great host, and her breakfast (included) was delicious. She was helpful in booking activities as well. Queenstown is just down the hill, but its a BIG... More

Great rooms, great service (always made to feel welcomed and very helpful with activities, etc.), great food, great location (close to the centre for the action, yet gets the tranquil environment as it is elevated above the centre) topped off with THE best view in Queenstown...just cannot fault it! A magnificent view of the lake and the mountains but just a short walk to all the Queenstown action. Louise is a charming host. The New Zealand delicacy of whitebait fritters with the pre-dinner drinks was very generous. Queenstown house was a great find. 5 star accommodation with the intimate feeling of a boutique hotel. If you really want to try true Kiwi hospitality and avoid the larger five star hotels this is the place. We had four nights at the Queenstown House with friends from the UK and it was an excellent choice. The view is simply outstanding, the proximity to town is perfect - close enough to walk and far enough to miss... More
