Just regurgitating what everyone else here has come to find out: Excellent service, blah blah blah, super safe, blah blah blah, best hostel ever, etc etc. Brett is a super cool guy, has put tons of work into the place and it shows. The only problem you might have is booking a room there. Enjoy Queenstown!

As good as the other reviews say. Staff are really helpful and you feel like you can trust them to do right by you. Most travellers who stay are a bit more conscious and not just the check into nomads/base type. Great 4 bed dorms which have balconies too. Liked it a lot, makes others seem sub par!

Best place in town to stay!!! Dorms are cozy but very comfy & warm and there's even a TV!!! Everyone has their own power outlets and night lights and the bunk beds are solid, never felt the person in the lower bunk moving around. The bathrooms are much better than the most local hotels! Great kitchen and movie room!! Staff... More

We were really impressed with everyone in this hostel and the service. They were all very friendly, professional, accommodating, and knowledgeable about Queenstown. What also stood out (compared to all other hostels during our 3-week NZ trip) was their willingness to go out of their way to be helpful and they appeared to enjoy working there (which is great!). I've been travelling for 7 months so far and this is the best place I've ever stayed, I could literally have lived here! Comfy sturdy bunks because by tighten the wood regularly! 2 plug sockets per bed! Night lights, huge balcony BBQ, huge living room with plasma tv & DVD rental, free mountain bike hire, free international calls within reason,... More

I stayed here while I was backpacking through Australia and NZ, and I have to say that this is by far the BEST hostel I have ever stayed in. I stayed in a 4 person room and the rooms don't have the dorm feel. Very clean/spacious room and each bed has its own charger and this little pocket to put... More

I don't know exactly where to start. Queenstown is a nice holiday town, but also a party place.. This hostel is located right in the centre of town, so it can be a bit noisy at night with people coming back from the bars and being loud.. Also my roommates were a bit noisy, coming in late at night, but... More

Brett has created something very special in Adventure Queenstown, if you have a list of everything you could ever want in a hostel, you're likely to find everything on that list at AQ. The service is excellent, the team is friendly, inviting, and extremely diligent. Free rentals include GoPros, Bicycles, Frisbees, and Video Games, anything you ask for, you will... More
