This cottage offers an island of comfort and tranquillity after - or instead of - enjoying the hustle and bustle of nearby Queenstown and Arrowtown. It is beautifully furnished and equipped, and in our case came with a welcoming tin of home-baked muffins. The owners couldn't be more welcoming and helpful.
What a find this was! Very comfortable accommodation in peaceful surroundings with spectacular views. There are cats and tame sheep. The owners were very helpful, letting us use their phone to book activities etc. The cottage is nearer to Arrowtown than Queenstown.

Try staying at Orchard Cottage located at 556 Speargrass Flats road. It is between Queenstown and Arrowtown. Great location, perfect bedrooms with bath, kitchenettes and sitting area all beautifully decorated and at a great price. The owners are really friendly. Great experience. We have stayed there twice.
