We read the recommendations and decided to check it out. The managers were friendly and helpful always willing to help us plan our trip. The rooms were clean, spacious, warm and great price. A short 10 minute walk from the town. This place was going to get a great review, but on the last day they hit amazing. Our car... More

Very friendly welcome - within easy driving of the airport and the town; a great apartment for two; bedroom, living room and bathroom; very spacious and great to hang out on a wet day! We stayed four nights in all and found the place comfortable and relatively inexpensive. It also seemed to have all the things you need if you... More

Visiting from Australia. Loved this place. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Well equipped room with separate bedroom and lounge area. Well located close to city restaurants and very reasonably priced in a town where accommodation costs can be extremely expensive! One of the nicer places we've stayed in our so far 3 weeks in this beautiful country. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for 3 nights in January. Very comfortable and quiet; our room, on top floor had small balcony at front with lovely view towards gondola. Had evening sun so ideal to sit out and enjoy a drink after a hectic day. Had all the facilities we needed. Friendly helpful owners.

We stayed for one night in late April. The apartment was extremely spacious with a separate, extremely clean and had a nice view up to Bob's Peak. The owners were very friendly. Old school bathroom on first inspection but the shower was superb! A short walk into town.

Hi, My partner and I stayed here during our trip to Queenstown and had a wonderful stay. Cannot thank the owners enough. They helped book activities for us and even drove us to one of the sites as we had to be there within 15 mins of us arriving there. They also gave us tips on where was good to... More

A group of girlfriends and I stayed at the Amity Lodge, Queenstown in late March this year. We had just come off the Routeburn tramp and were looking for a few quiet days of R&R. We enjoyed our stay over the Easter weekend at Amity Lodge. 1. Quiet, but still convenient location (everything within walking distance) 2. Nice, clean rooms.... More

in a good location on a quiet street off the main street, but only a 5 minute to the town's activity. Easy to find just as you get into Queenstown. If you are looking for a small apartment rather than a hotel room, this is a good choice. Good size living/dining/kitchen area. Bed was comfortable. Furnishings were basic but fine.... More

The motel is quiet but close to the main road and local buses. There is a bus that goes regularly to and from the airport. Easy walk to the main Queenstown shopping area but remember that Queenstown is hilly - the bus even goes from Queenstown shops to a stop (less than100m) near the motel. It was great to have... More

Amity Lodge is an excellent motel located within easy walking distance (7 to 10 minutes) of downtown Queenstown. Each unit is like a separate small condo unit. Our was on the upper level and offered excellent views of the gondola hill and distant mountains beyond the lake. We considered other B&Bs outside of town, but we ultimately decided since we... More
