Stayed two nights, the beginning and end of our trrip to NZ. Friendly staff, good clean rooms, value for money, even though it was only a 5 min walk to shops it was very quiet, good book exchange, will stay again the next time in Christchurch More

On arrival our room was cold. The attendant (not at reception when we got there, so we had to ring a bell) basically said, "the heater comes on at night." It was after sunset and getting cooler, so I asked what if that didn't happen. "Well, it should." If it didn't we'd be given a(nother) small room heater. (We were... More

We have owned the Ashleigh Court Motel for over a year and this is our first negative review after having received so many very positive reviews and having just returned from a month away overseas on holiday,we find this review very dissappointing. The lady managing the motel in our absence has worked for us as relief manager several times and... More

We arrived at Christchurch and stayed one night in Ashleigh Court Motel. It was located in the area of Riccarton, Christhcurch. It had a really nice courtyard with blooming flowers. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The studio room was really clean and nice. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was exceptionally clean. It was a really... More

Immaculate accommodations within easy walking distance of Hagley Park and downtown Christchurch. Very friendly and knowledgeable hosts. Comforts of home all available, including bike rental, grassy yard with swingset, trampoline, and convenient shopping district right down the street. Quiet residential location provides excellent respite and launching pad while exploring Christchurch. More

Very enjoyable stay in a cosy, ultra quiet motel with excellent host, Frances, who directed us to restaurants (which were good and had reasonable prices) and helped with all our enquires. Great location - 10 mins drive from the airport, 5 mins walk from lovely Hagley Park, 5 mins easy walk from a huge Westfield centre where you can buy... More

We had 2 nights here in a 2 bedroom. Frances (the host) was really friendly and made us feel very comfortable. The motel is in a residential area so it's really quiet, but it's just off a main road so accessibility is no problem. The unit was spacious and clean, with very decent appliances and other bits and bobs. 2... More

We stayed in Ashleigh for one night during our recent visit to NZ. But I only wish we could have stayed for longer or on our return trip from Queenstown, could have stayed here. Good hospitality, lovely location and cozy rooms. What more could we ask. It was actually a find for us as we had almost run out of... More

The location of this property guarantees a good night's sleep. While the citycentre of Christchurch is presently undergoing extensive rebuilding there is no lack of attractions while in the area. Hosts Sue & Steve Peters make sure you have a pleasant and comfortable stay. (Go ahead and use the garden hose after a dusty car trip through The Catlins..!) Jan... More

I stayed here after flying into NZ and then again the night before flying out. The owners could not have been more helpful - after arriving late afternoon and in a hurry to sort out some paperwork, they located the nearest open office (the ones I knew being closed due to the earthquakes), organised a taxi for me and then...
